This song is about a splintered, mercurial personality, with two polar opposite behavioral patterns (exceedingly kind and exceedingly cruel), that alternate unpredictably.

SAVAGERY

…is about the ruthlessness of nature, which as well shows in humans, at times.

TOO DEPRESSED TO DANCE

…is about detachment from everyone around you, feeling ostracized and different.

ZEITGEIST

It’s about the dysphoria of not belonging to this time or place, or rather feeling like you don’t belong to any time and place at all.

FARAWAY LANDS

A song about the refugee “crisis”, how people escape war zones only to face a total hostility of those who will never understand what it is to have your homeland turned into a death trap.

TAINTED TONGUE

…is a graphic depiction of someone being toxic to the point of decay and contagion. Dedicated to all those who like to talk shit about others.

HALLUCINATING

It’s when your mind starts out of nowhere warping things you hear and see, and everything seems absurd, you cannot separate the real from the imagined. I believe it’s a form of dissociation.

MOUTH SEWN SHUT

…is speaking of sycophantic people who in order to gain popularity are always pleasant, kiss ass and never voice out opinions in fear they would be controversial. They may be friends with everyone and be praised, but compromise their authenticity and integrity towards themselves in the process.

THEY ARE AFTER US

The narrator of this song has a post-traumatic stress disorder after a home invasion so severe that every sound from outside their door seems like a threat.

RITUAL (2016)

DRAWN AND QUARTERED

…comes from the frustration towards devout meat-eaters’ excuses about their choices of food, that’s it’s not immoral to factory farm animals just because “it’s delicious” or “we would otherwise starve” – but somehow it would be immoral to do the exact same things to humans.

DEATHMARCH

…is about blind obedience towards certain canonized (authority) figures, especially that of underground circles.

SALT THE EARTH

…is an exercise of jinxing certain personalities through a song.

PANIC PARANOIA

…is to paint a picture of mental distress and anxiety on a daily level.

LUNACY

…was inspired by the attacks Islamic State brought about in France and elsewhere in 2015, making a comparison between them and atrocities that have been committed in the name of Christianity. It’s a reminder that all organized religions have their ugly, deranged sides.

SIBERIA

A song about childhood memories getting entwined with imagination and the brutal reality of things, that you don’t necessarily realize as a child.

SINNERS LIKE US

…is weighing organized manslaughter (war, other governmental carnage) against individual one (random homicide by a private citizen).

ANGST

…is about the colorful distractions entertainment offers us as a diversion, so we would care less about the deteriorating state of the world, and the appalling things happening all around us.

MADHOUSE

A depiction of my experiences in a housing unit for troubled youth, with a little bit of additional fantasy.

WITH RAZORBLADES

…is a “fuck you” song dedicated to all cowards.

… is an anti-fur anthem, in particular against making the products derived from suffering fashionable.

ALL THINGS HURT

…is about the myriad of withdrawal symptoms.

CRY LIKE BIRDS

A description of the all-consuming silence after major bloodshed like a world war, when there’s nothing left of humanity.

I WILL STALK YOU

The title is pretty self-explanatory. It’s about an obsession towards another human being which transforms into stalking.

MURDERAMA

…is about a documentary show Ladykillers (2008), which tells the tale of the most infamous female murderers of all time, Moors murderers above all. It’s also an attempt to set music to such heinous act of crime.

DEMO (2013)

NEEDLE THROUGH A BUG

..is an allegory of someone sadistic and isolated, who shatters people’s lives and then adds them to their figurative “collection”, just like a bug collector would.

PLAY DEAD

..is about going against all one’s instincts when being attacked, and instead of making a run for it, throwing oneself to the ground and acting lifeless.

CUTS

..is written about masochistic tendencies, especially those that surface while being intoxicated.
